France is investing in Iran’s aluminum industry
France and Iran’s Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation signed an agreement to establish an Anode firm for aluminum industry.
The agreement was between head of IMIDRO Company and FIVES managing director in Paris.
Members of the French MEDEF union were also present in the meeting. The industry giant got ready to implement anode production plan in the form of engineering, providing, implementing and funding.
The two sides would invest for establishing a firm for producing anode.
The factory would add 450.000 tons of anode to Iran’s annual production. Iran’s aluminum production capacity is scheduled to hit 1.200 million tons annually while its output is now 450.000 tons.
The plan needs $400 million to invest from French side
